I have only started 3D printing this year and I wanted to know what the most popular colors are as I only have black and red and want to start using more colors but don't want to pick a treble color and not use it.

Did you dry yours before using? I saw on the website and didn't buy it because it said you'd have to dry it before using 😅 As a side note, any recommendations on a budget friendly filament dryer? Just got an A1 Mini and I'm LOVING it!

I dunno. Is this actually using leftover filament or is it wasting a bunch of new white filament and using a tiny amount of the leftovers to make an object you’re gonna throw in the trash in two weeks? The real tip is to stop printing so much stuff you don’t need and then you won’t have so much leftover filament to get rid of.

Just make sure you update your filament profiles in Bambu Studio. I'm seeing lots of reports that the new HF PET-G does NOT play nice with the old Basic profiles.

I have the X1C and love it, but I have enough maker world points to pick up another printer and am debating between the A1 combo and the A1 mini combo. I’m running out of room! Lol but you brought up a good point, you need enough space for both with the standard config, so I’ve been looking into these stacked and platform like drawers you can convert the AMS lite into, like one that sits under the printer, another becomes a stack of the spools on their sides next to the printer, another showed a desk drawer and a hole drilled into the desk to hide it completely!

Bought two rolls. One of them came out of the package unusable. Super high moisture and wound terribly so it’s constantly getting tangled in the AMS.

What light setup did you go with ?

I love single filament changes as anyone can do it!

I’m considering an A1mini as a second printer to my X1c, and I saw some makerworld prints to add a platform under the printer that the ams sits inside of, might do that

Technically my ass is a 3d printer, an fdm printer to be exact, because when you think about it, it’s a nozzle (anus) that pushes out lines of material (poop) and moves in 3 dimensions

You should buy a filament extruder and break up all of that filament into granulated pieces of plastic then use the extruder to turn it into your own filament

You should try teflon heat press sheets. They are fiber reinforced so they don't stretch, they should give you more consistent results.

What about pouring in some silicon into the bottle. Just enough to coat the inside of the bottles?

I have an idea. So, to keep the seams aligned and to make the lines even, maybe you could take inspiration from tile laying? They have spacers to keep the grout lines consistent. This would need 2 extra parts. 1st- A space that includes the tiles and the spaces on both sides. Use that to line up the pieces to sew the seam. 2nd- you could create an extrusion the width of the space, like a cookie cutter. Use that to align the individual tiles I loooove these. I now really want to make a fancy shirt with the 3D printed shoulders/ sleeves😂
